| 60 Years Old! |
January 20 was Steve's big 60. The family all came for supper and Megan and I decorated the apartment a little bit for the occasion.

The family arrived and Jay's family brought 60 balloons for the occasion. Needless to say, that was a lot of balloons! Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of them all, but they were pretty much everywhere!

We celebrated around the table with food. The children surprised Steve by providing crabs to eat. That was fun and messy!

Josh & Julissa gave Steve a little bag of 60 candy marbles with an attached note, "Congratulations on making it to 60! Unfortunately they say that when you turn 60 you start to lose your marbles, so enclosed in this bag are 60 replacement "marbles." Whenever you feel you've lost a few, help yourself to some from this bag to replenish them."
I guess that pretty much sums it up. Hopefully he keeps most of his marbles through his 6th decade.
