We are delighted to have a new member in our family! Bryce was born on Wednesday and Steve and I took Awstin to meet his brother that evening.

Nothing much compares to holding a new baby :) |
We enjoyed having Awstin for a few days. I asked Shawn what Awstin likes for breakfast and he suggested Lucky Charms and bagels so I made sure I had them on hand. However on Tuesday night when I mentioned breakfast the next morning he said he wanted dippy eggs made by Grandpa. Apparently his daddy and grandpa are the only ones that can make dippy eggs just right. Of course, Steve couldn't refuse him so obliged him with a perfect dippy egg on Wednesday morning.

Happily eating his dippy egg |
Awstin informed us that he would like a dippy egg made by Grandpa every morning so I was left to eat the bagels. I wasn't sure who would eat the Lucky Charms but on Thursday when I asked Awstin what he wanted for supper he said Lucky Charms! I figured that was perfect and that I would just heat some leftovers for Steve and me. However, as I was getting ready to pop something in the microwave for us Steve said, "I think, I'll have Lucky Charms too!" I said, "You know what, I think I will too!" So the three of us sat down to a delightful supper of Lucky Charms. I had forgotten how good they tasted!
Bryce and Melissa are home now and everyone is doing well. We are looking forward to many happy times with Bryce in the future. I bet he will like Lucky Charms and dippy eggs some day!
