I am still here. It's been so long that I wrote on this Blog that I had to look my password up to get into it.
Life goes on. Not much has changed as far as our situation. We are still waiting to see how some things conclude before making decisions for the future. However, the winter has been fairly peaceful and we have kept ourselves busy. In the beginning of January one of our employees at the store couldn't work anymore because of a very bad cataract so I ended up taking his hours and working a LOT! Most days I would leave my day job at New Hope and drive directly to the store and work there from 4-7. Steve would join me and putter around with different things and we would eat our supper there as well. Thankfully, our employee has had successful surgery and is coming back this week. It was actually really good for Steve and me to be at the store so much. We learned to know our customers a lot better and they learned to know us. I have found that keeping busy is one of the best ways to keep your mind off things that worry you, so I think having to be at the store so much was a blessing in disguise.
One of the things that always makes me smile and brings back wonderful memories is Bible quizzing. This year, Josh was again a quizmaster, Julissa a timekeeper, and Megan a judge. I just love how Josh and Megan have continued to dedicate their winters to this activity and how Julissa has joined in and loves it just as much as them. We figured out that Josh and Megan have spent at least the last 15 years of their lives being involved in this program. One Sunday night in February, Steve and I went to an evening of quizzing and really enjoyed connecting with people that we knew from 7 or 8 years ago when I was coaching. Here are a few pictures.

Another fun time was a weekend that we kept Hannah and Clara while Jay and Kristen were away with friends at a cabin. Alexis and Lydia spent the weekend with Josh and Julissa and Mark stayed with Awstin. We thoroughly enjoyed having just the little girls. Hannah kept us entertained with her nonstop chatter and Clara just walked around doing her own thing, happily playing by herself and being as cute as a button. It was nice to have time just with them. Hannah loved playing school and house and was happy to have my undivided attention. I didn't take many pictures but here are a couple.

I think that's about it. I'll try to blog a little more frequently as long as I have something to write about. My sister and I have been working on a project that I hope to post about in the near future so stay tuned.
Oh, there is one more big piece of news. This little guy is going to be a big brother in October! Yup! You heard right. Needless to say, we are all pretty excited!
